Why ACCA?
Before you continue let us congratulate you on making one of the best decisions in your life. ACCA has been showing a tremendous growth in the whole world. Thousands of students from appear in ACCA Examinations each year especially in UK and Asian countries. It is an amazing fact that ACCA is being accepted as an equivalent to Masters degree due to its highly professional and pure financial nature. As a matter of fact, jobs vacancies are very rare due to the poor financial market condition for the past 3 to 4 years. But, still, there are a lot of potential job opportunities in Middle Eastern countries for an ACCA qualified. One, after completing ACCA and a little experience, is supposed to find high paying jobs as ACCA is a well recognized degree in the Middle East. Large companies in the middle-eastern countries like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain appreciate the candidates who have completed ACCA.
ACCA can easily be completed along with MBA. And if done with MBA, an ACCA absolutely has a great competitive advantage in the job. MBA with ACCA is if not easy, then not impossible either. Now is the time. If you are doing MBA or planning for that, go for your ACCA simultaneously. Now is the time to do something that is deserved. You are not supposed to miss this opportunity. All you have to do get registered for ACCA online, collect important study material including ACCA past papers and answers and start preparing. You can visit online forums and student communities on social networks for important information. There is a total of 14 courses you have to pass. Out of which 9 are fundamental courses ranging from F1-F9. Remaining 5 are professional courses out of which 3 are compulsory and you have two choices among P4, P5, P6, P7. You are left with two attempts and a maximum of 8 exams to appear in each year. If you are doing full time ACCA, I’d suggest you to avail your time and get 8 examinations cleared each year. One of my important advices is to at least get your bachelors in commerce done along with your ACCA studies. Bachelors in commerce, for ACCA students, is literally very easy in all respects and a sensible student is supposed to make the most of this opportunity to get a degree for bachelors in commerce with minimum efforts. So I wonder if anyone loses this great opportunity! You can also study by yourself at your home. I’m shocked when i see most of the people paying thousands of rupees to institutions for the preparation of ACCA examinations. You can be provided with all the required stuff and get your self guided by your friends or colleagues who have already passed their examinations. There is no alternative to experience. So just let them guide you and have a little faith in yourself. You have internet which is another tremendous source of preparation and guidance for absolutely free. Imagine if Einstein had internet. Lots of his efforts would have been reduced. He just had courage and he did what any anyone else couldn’t do in the history. What if he had such a rich source of information like internet? First things first! while preparing for any examination, past papers will definitely be very helpful for any candidate so will be the ACCA past papers for ACCA students. The nature of ACCA Past Papers is not like applying a certain conjecture to sort out important questions (which quite fortunately works for other examination) but with ACCA past papers you can just make yourself able to prepare and for the projected question examinations.
It would be best of best if you continue your ACCA education and at the same time you complete your master’s degree. I’ve completed my MBA from University of Karachi and now I’m planning to do ACCA at the earliest as when I see some of my friends who have completed their masters along with ACCA and right now purifying their professional expertise as auditors in reputed audit firms. I was also advised to do it by one of my sincere friends and this, I believe, would help me find a better position in the future. If you are on time, make your plans and always try to stick to your plans and strictly try to achieve your goals.
